What: Day at the Beach with Kahakukahi is a fun, inclusive beach experience that brings people of all abilities together to enjoy the healing power of the ocean. In partnership with adaptive recreation organizations, participants have the opportunity to explore accessible water activities, build confidence, connect with others, and create lasting memories in a safe and supportive environment.
Guided by the spirit of aloha, the event fosters a sense of ʻohana and belonging while celebrating the belief that everyone deserves access to the ocean and the freedom, joy, and possibilities it provides. Through adaptive water sports and meaningful community connections, we create an "Ocean of Possibilities" where inclusion and accessibility are at the heart of every experience.
